3E-ROI (Pronounced: Three - E - Roy) is an abbreviation for: Extrasomatic Evolution & Energy Return on Invested. .. (But also maybe "ROI" as in king, as in kings of Extrasomatic Evolution & Energy)....  It is a large sculpture depicting the transition of human beings from millions of years of biological evolution into the last 10 000 years or so which have been dominated by cultural and technological evolution.  It will touch on various steps that have enabled us to extract energy more efficiently from our environments and progress to the level of population and domination of the natural world that we enjoy today.  It will also provoke questions about what comes next.

3E-ROi was deployed with smashing success at Burningman 2009!  What a great time.  Tons of fabulous input, conversations and fun.

The project is currently in storage and we are on thelookout for a more pernanent place for the next erection in the spring / summer 2010.
